Peter Paul Zeimet, 62, died February 5, 2018, at the Renown Regional Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1955, in Hot Springs, South Dakota to the late Peter William Zeimet and AraBelle June Zeimet (nee Fuller).
Pete attended Edgemont High School in Edgemont, South Dakota, before studying at the University of Utah. He later graduated from Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pete was an accomplished musician and an active member of the Capital City Community Band in Reno. He loved to provide music and entertainment for his community. He had a zany sharp wit, loved to travel, could spin a yarn, and was avid for fine vintage cars. He loved his friends and they returned the caring. Packards, bassoons, kitties, fine food, good friends: A life well lived.
Pete is survived by his sister Mary Jo Zeimet and his nieces Danielle Oser (nee Beck) and Mindy Krall-Gammage (nee Beck) and dear friends Betty Wright and Linda Richardson. He was preceded in death by his sister Lani Beck (nee Solomon).
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, February 18 from 3-5 p.m. at the Gold ‘N Silver Inn, 790 West Fourth, Reno, Nevada.
