Notice of Intention 

to take Tax Deed

TO: KENNETH V. BARKER ET-AL..AND ANY UNKNOWN HEIRS OR UNKNOWN RESIDENTS, the owners of record of the hereinafter described real property, and in whose name said property is or has been taxed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following described real property situated in the County of Fall River County, State of South Dakota, to-wit:

12-2 Unorg, Lot 3, Sec 2, Twp 12, Rg 2, Fall River County, South Dakota,

was on the 21st day of December, 2009, purchased by Fall River County, South Dakota, for said county at the regular tax sale held in said county on the 21st day of December, 2009, for the sum of $143.46, said sum being the amount of the taxes assessed against said real property for the year 2008, plus penalty, interest and costs of sale, said real property having been first offered for sale to competitive bidders at public auction, but not having been sold for want of bidders offering the amount due, it was thereupon bid in for the said amount due by Lori Bachand, the County Treasurer for said Fall River County, South Dakota; that in pursuance of said sale, certificate of tax sale dated the 21st day of December, 2009, was duly issued by said County Treasurer to said Fall River County, South Dakota; is now the legal owner and holder of said certificate of sale No. 2009-00091.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the right of redeeming said real property from said tax sale will expire sixty days from the date of the completed service of this notice, and that unless redemption is made from said tax sale at the office of the Fall River County Treasurer, Hot Springs, South Dakota, within said time, a tax deed will be made and issued by the Country Treasurer of the County of Fall River, State of South Dakota, to said Fall River County covering the above described real property. The Fall River County Treasurer can inform you of the amount required to redeem said certificate, including interest, through the date of redemption, plus costs and attorney fees for the Tax Deed action.
