A regular meeting of the Edgemont Common Council was held on June 16 at 7 p.m.
Councilman George West was absent, while Councilwoman Brenda Cullen, had to be patched into the meeting via phone. This allowed the council to have a quorum.
After general meeting openers and reports, the council went into executive session. Council returned to their regular meeting at 9:40 p.m.
Echo Brosmire was appointed and took oath after the meeting reconvened. Brosmire will complete the one year term that Randy Stalcup originally resigned from. Junior Harper won the election earlier this spring to replace Stalcup.
Harper resigned his position with the council, shortly after the election. Harper is the current City Works Foreman.
Stephanie Clark requested the use of mud hill for the Redneck Rally from July 3 through July 5. Clark also requested three dumpsters, closing of the fishing ponds, two vouchers for the dump for clean up and use of water. The council approved what Clark had asked for.
