Southern Hills Theater and Woolly’s present the murder mystery ‘Eclipsed’

HOT SPRINGS - Lord Cress N. Moon and Lady Silver E. Moon invite you to their Moonlight Masquerade Ball for an evening of comedy and murder when Woolly’s Grill and Cellar presents “Eclipsed” a two-act dinner theatre produced by the Southern Hills Community Theatre. 

You will dine on slow roasted prime rib, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and au jus. The appetizer, salad bar and entree will be served before the play, and the dessert, “Lunar Eclipse” chocolate fudge lava cake, will be served at intermission. Moon cakes will be the table decor. A cash bar will be available.

The play is set in England where Lord and Lady Moon are holding a charity masquerade gala. Up for auction is a stunning Tiffany diamond necklace that mysteriously disappears and causes mayhem and murder. Could any of the nobility at the party be the culprits? Members of the audience will be called upon to help solve the mystery with the clues they receive. 

To get into the spirit of the play, members of the audience are invited to wear costumes and masks, especially masks. 

Director Donna Behrens said the cast has been working hard to prepare the play for performances, which will be on Friday, October 19, Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m. 

The cast includes Irene Alexiou-Fleming as Lady Silver E. Moon; Martin Meyer as Lord Cress N. Moon and Baron Von Kratersasse; Kathe Holen as Lady Luna Cee; Mark Johnsen as Manfred and Bo Bradley Thompson as Henrietta Quarter.

Tickets are available at Woolly’s. The ticket prices are $40 for singles and $75 for couples, which include the dinner and play. Order tickets early, space is limited! 745-6414. Woolly’s is located at 1648 Hwy 18 Bypass.
