Fall River History Conference

The Eleventh Annual Fall River History Conference is upcoming on Saturday, January 16, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Mueller Center, 801 S. 6th St., Hot Springs, SD.
This is the museum’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Morning snacks and a noon meal will be included in the $30 fee.

Edgemont Elementary Christmas Program

On Thursday, December 10, at 7 p.m., elementary students performed for the annual Christmas program. They were directed by Suzanne Hollenbeck.
Kindergarten and first grade students performed “Jingle Bells”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, “Up On the Housetop” and “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.”

Edgemont City Council Holds Regular Meeting

On December 1, the Edgemont City Council met at 7 p.m.
Deputy Josh Buckwheat was present to give the law enforcement report. A few questions were asked about the law enforcement report.
Councilwoman Barb Strozewski asked about the mental case issue on 710 Seventh Avenue. Moguls Honor Our U.S. Veterans

November 11, 2015 the Edgemont School honored our veterans by holding a Veterans Day Program. The Master’s of Ceremony were Lathen Stevens and Becky Peterson.
Guests were serenaded by the High School Choir’s rendition of “O America”. Sue Hendricks presented a story in prelude to a music video by Big and Rich titled “The Eighth of November”.
