Ethyl Eileen (Mueller) Baldauf went to be with her husband Boyd in heaven on June 19, 2018. She was born in 1929 to Senator John and Fae Alice Mueller of Hot Springs, South Dakota. Ethyl had two older brothers, Eldon and Don. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1947 and attended Chadron State College in Nebraska.
She married Boyd Baldauf on June 5, 1950 in Rushville, Nebraska. The couple made several moves before landing in Pueblo, Colorado in 1965.
Ethyl loved family, and her six children enjoyed her very much. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Boyd were married for 66 years. She loved spending time at their cabin in the mountains with family and friends. One time at the cabin, she went face to face with a bear!
Her nine grandchildren were some of her greatest treasures. She would spend hours reading and playing with them. She also had three great-grandchildren. She loved to laugh, and her smile was a great joy to all.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to The Mueller Civic Center, which was named for Ethyl’s family.
