Edgemont volleyball team places 3rd in PAC Tournament

EDGEMONT – The Edgemont Lady Moguls volleyball team had another successful week that included a home win versus Hulett, Wyo., last Thursday for Parent's Night, and was capped off with a third place finish in the Panhandle Athletics Conference Tournament this past Saturday in Morrill, Neb.

Versus Hulett at home, the Lady Moguls won in straight sets 25-14, 25-20 and 25-22.

Defense scores three TDs in shutout of Douglas

BOX ELDER – After suffering just their second loss of the season the previous week versus St. Thomas More, the Hot Springs Bison football team bounced quickly with a decisive 46-0 win over Class 11AA winless Douglas last Friday night in Box Elder.

Ten weeks of running preparation finally came to an end last Thursday at the Southern Hills Golf course at the Region 5A cross country meet. Eleven teams competed for a chance to compete at the state meet in Sioux Falls this coming Saturday. Seems like we were blessed with good running weather today as opposed to what we had practiced in the last week.

Bison fall one score short in BHC battle vs. STM

HOT SPRINGS – The Hot Springs Bison football team struggled out of the gate and fell behind early to the visiting St. Thomas More Cavaliers by a score of 0-14 in the second quarter, and would eventually fall by a final of 14-21 after holding STM scoreless in the second half.
